Also – All students will check in their laptop computers Thursday, May 30th from 11:15 to 1:00 PM. Please again refer to the high school webpage for further information. There are no assigned times this year. The last week of school information is fully explained on the high school website by clicking on the Laptop Information link on the left hand side, then click on End of Year Laptop collection. If you have any questions, please call the high school office at 717-1212.

Freshman Transition

Good Morning

Reminder to 8th grade Parents. On Monday, May 20th Spearfish High School will host a Transition Day for all 8th grade students who will be members of the Freshman Class beginning in August of 2019. 8th grade students will report to the High School Auditorium at 1:30 for a brief orientation as well being introduced to their Guidance Counselor and assigned Spartan Time Advisor. The Advisors will then take the students to their classroom for a general question and answer period. Student mentors will also be available at this time. A quick tour of the high school will take place showing students the location of several essential areas of importance throughout the high school. The 8th grade students will report back to the Middle school somewhere around 3:10 PM. Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend this event with your 8th grade student. Parental tips on surviving the freshman year will also be discussed. (link below) We are hoping this activity will help ease your students move into the high school next fall. Please call 717-1212 with any questions you may have.

Thank You
